Alexandra + Ronnie / Duluth, MN Wedding Photographer

Two weekends ago, I spent the day with Alexandra and Ronnie as they were married at the Greysolon Ballroom in downtown Duluth. Below are a few images from throughout their day. It was hard, well I actually didn't see it happen all day, to get Ronnie not to smile. Dude was one happy guy all day long. And except for the 20 seconds where Alexandra learned about a mistake with Ronnie's suit, she was the same way. Big shout out to Mr. Kevin Berg for keeping things under control. As you can tell below, both Alexandra and Ronnie were dressed to kill. Congrats to the two of you!

Normally when I leave Duluth to shoot a wedding, I won't know many of the people at the wedding besides the couple. This wedding was different. It's the third wedding I've shot for this family so it was fun to leave town and see so many familiar faces. And so it was this past weekend in Rochester, Minn. for Justin and Kara's wedding. It was rainy and windy, but when the time came for outdoor pictures, all of that disappeared. Mother Nature is such a drama queen. Congrats Kara and Justin and thanks for another great weekend in Rochester!

The weather report the week before Michelle and Tyler's wedding said everything from 60 and sunny to temperatures in the 30s with snow and high winds. They got the latter, but you'd never be able to tell. From braving wind gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour in Canal Park to trudging through brush and grass to get shots at Enger Park, nothing was going to stop these two. I had an awesome time spending the day with Michelle, Tyler, their families and guests. As a reward for making it through the tumultuous weather, their honeymoon immediately followed in Jamaica. Very nice! Congrats!!

Suzanna + Ray :: Duluth, MN Wedding Photographer

One week out from Suzanna and Ray's wedding, the forecast called for rain. Four days out, rain. The day before? Rain. It was supposed to rain ALL day Saturday, but Saturday came and the rain held off until the late afternoon and even took a break long enough so we could sneak in a few photos outside before they took off on their first trip as a married couple.

Along the way, groomsmen Alex, the cardboard cutout, was hard to pin down as we would periodically find him off in the woods, up in a tree or looking over everyone's shoulder at the reception. Alex is in the Army and deployed overseas and would have been a groomsmen, but was unable to make it back. I love, love, loved the cardboard cutout idea and I'm sure he will appreciate that he was there in cardboard form.
